Citizens for Rural Coweta Political Action Committee is dedicated to supporting candidates for the Coweta County Commission who will oppose any Commissioner who votes to rezone over 800 acres of western Coweta County from Rural Conservation to Industrial for Project Sail.
We believe in protecting our county’s rural character from unwanted development. Your participation is crucial to ensure that citizens are encouraged to VOTE FOR Commission candidates whose policies preserve Coweta County’s unique quality of life and will be committed to data center development only in areas already designated for industrial use.
Before the vote on the zoning ordinance and the final rezoning vote, you have an opportunity to tell our Commissioners that allowing a San Francisco based company to use NINE MILLION gallons of water a day, to use 900 MW of continuous power, to despoil 800+ acres of rural Coweta, and then take the profits back to California is not what we want for our county.
